Situated within a largely developed hinterland drawn
from Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Northern Johor, 2
the Port is surrounded by more than 500 companies
operating within Melaka’s Industrial Parks,
including electrical and electronic companies,
fabricated metal product plants, food, and furniture
manufacturers. This enables the Port to be FORKLIFT 30T
developed as a significant gateway to handle both
Containers and Conventional cargoes, serving the 1
growing industries in Melaka and the Central Region
of Peninsular Malaysia as well as its neighbouring PORT EQUIPMENT
