PTP CSR Eco Lestari X UTHM: Fire, Water & Energy in Action
This CSR initiative was a collaborative effort between PTP and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), combining three key
modules: Water Science Education, Energy Efficiency, and Risk Reduction for a better understanding of environmental and energy matters.
The programme involved 40 Eco Warrior students, four teachers, and five UTHM representatives, led by Dr. Zuritah A. Kadir.
This programme cultivated preparedness among Eco Warrior students through integrated practical learning, with participants engaging in hands-
on activities including carbon footprint tracking to understand daily carbon usage, water quality monitoring by measuring dissolved oxygen levels
from lake, drainage, and sea water samples, and fire safety exposure through learning about PTP firefighters’ equipment, assets, and emergency
response procedures directly from the firefighting team.
