             PTP

          PM DRIVING SIMULATOR (PROOF OF CONCEPT)
          •   PTP has conducted a proof of concept (POC) for a Prime Mover (PM) Driving Simulator as part of its efforts to enhance PM operators' training
             and safety awareness. The simulator was tested to evaluate its potential to provide a realistic and controlled environment for operators to
             practice and refine their skills.
             JOHOR PORT

          JOHOR PORT CELEBRATES HSE DAY 2024 – FOCUS ON SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY
          •   Johor Port successfully hosted its HSE Day 2024, underscoring its commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) excellence. The
             event saw participation from the port’s leadership, employees, contractors, port users and stakeholders.
          •   The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of several key initiatives including the e-Waste Campaign, which encourages proper electronic
             waste disposal to support environmental sustainability and Johor Port Contractors’ Standard Uniformed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
             which featured a new range of fluorescent orange PPE with 360-degree reflectors to enhance safety.
          •   A series of awareness talks were also held on critical topics, including Breast Cancer by KPJ Puteri Hospital, E-waste Management by Tess-
             Amm, The Dangers of Unregistered Medicines & Unnotified Cosmetics by the Pharmacy Enforcement Department of Johor and Ergonomic &
             Back Pain Prevention by Physiomobile.
          JOHOR PORT CONDUCTS PPE AWARENESS TRAINING
          •   The objectives of this awareness training were to ensure that employees understand the importance of PPE and how to use and maintain it
             properly. The training was conducted by one of Johor Port’s suppliers, 3M Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., and attended by staff and contractors whose
             jobs involve the usage of PPE. Furthermore, the training ensures compliance with legal requirements following the Chemical Health Risk
             Assessment recommendation provided by the appointed consultant.
          JOHOR PORT PARTICIPATES IN SITE EMERGENCY RESPONSE ACTION (X-SERA) EXERCISE 2024
          •   Held at Shell (M) Terminal Pasir Gudang, the objectives of this emergency exercise were to demonstrate the communication between Pasir
             Gudang Emergency Mutual Aid (PAGEMA) and its members while also evaluating their readiness and preparedness in responding to multiple
             scenarios. The exercise also tested the related Emergency Response equipment in line with the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures.

             NORTHPORT
          NORTHPORT PARTICIPATES IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (AMENDMENT) ACT 2022 SEMINAR
          •   The  event  was  organised  by the  Malaysia  Society  for  Occupational  Safety  and  Health  (MSOSH)  in  collaboration  with  the  Department  of
             Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). The seminar aimed to provide in-depth insights into the latest amendments to the Occupational Safety
             and Health Act 1994 with the participation of industry professionals.
          NORTHPORT PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL FIRE CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION MALAYSIA (IFCEM) 2024
          •   Northport participated in the IFCEM 2024 in collaboration with the Malaysian Fire Protection Association, the Institution of Fire Engineers
             (UK) Malaysia Branch, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and the Confederation of Fire Protection Associations International. The event
             served as a regional conference and trade fair, bringing together professionals from the fire and rescue services, fire engineers, civil protection,
             safety, disaster management, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers and other private sectors. It provided a platform for knowledge exchange,
             showcasing the latest global fire development, exploring innovative solutions to enhance our capacity in mitigating and  responding to
             fire-related incidents.
            PENANG PORT
             PENANG PORT
          •   Conducted  an ergonomic  awareness programme  for port  police  personnel and forklift  drivers  to reduce  occupational  health problems,
             including theoretical and practice sessions for forklift drivers and long seating to reduce ergonomic issues.
          •   Organised emergency drills during bad weather (heavy rain and strong winds) at QGC crane operations.  After receiving the forecast that bad
             weather will hit, the operation team will be ready to move the QGC cranes to the anchor point area and anchor the crane (anchor clamp) safely.
          •   OSHE Mentor-Mentee Programme by using Occupational Safety and Health Workplace Assessment (OSHWA) to assess OSH compliance of
             Penang Port’s contractor and tenant compliance.
          •   Organised fire, emergency, rescue and evacuation drills in the WKU North Butterworth Container Terminal building with Government agencies,
             Penang Port staff and all port users. This assessed the preparedness of emergency teams and the suitability of assembly areas during
             emergencies.
          •   Established and displayed safety videos to promote safety culture to all port users including visitors.
          •   Organised the introduction of the new OSHA Act and invited DOSH officers for a talk session with Penang Port Management. The programme
             involved briefing on the OSHA Act 2022, OSHWA, HIRARC, and Contraction Design Work Management.
          •   Conducted fire, emergency, rescue and evacuation training at the SPCT building with government agencies, Penang Port workers and all port
             users. Emergency Drill was carried out during ship operations and involved tourists getting on/off the cruise ship. The drill was to assess the
             preparedness of emergency teams and the suitability of gathering areas during emergencies involving large numbers of tourists.
          •   Development of Module SHERMAN (Safety, Health, & Environment Risk Management) System and organised a road show to introduce the
             system.
          •   Organised the introduction of the new OSHA Act and invited DOSH officers for a talk session with Penang Port Management. The programme
             involved briefing on the OSHA Act 2022, OSHWA, HIRARC, and Contraction Design Work Management.
          •   Monitoring on water effluent at seven Penang Port terminal.
          •   Integrated Management System Internal Audit (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 37001:2016 & ISO 45001:2018), Integrated Management
             System Management Review (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 37001:2016 & ISO 45001:2018), and Integrated Management System
             Surveillance Audit (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 37001:2016 & ISO 45001:2018) held.
          •   Held Initial Ergonomic Risk Assessment (ERA)
          •   Held Light Duty assessment by Occupational Health Doctor.
             SPT SERVICES
          TIER 2 BOMB THREAT DRILL
          •   A “Tier 2” bomb threat exercise was held at SPJ Terminal Operation Building to test preparedness and response. The
             exercise involved SPT Services Security, Pengerang Integrated Complex Security, IPK Johor, and Unit Pemusnah Bom (PDRM).
             The scenario simulated a credible bomb threat requiring evacuation, search, and coordination with external agencies.
