Oct Johor Port and PTP Hosts Port Trade Delegation from Netherlands
30 Johor Port and PTP jointly welcomed a port trade delegation from the Netherlands Embassy in Malaysia, led byJacques Werner,
Ambassador of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The delegation was treated to a comprehensive tour of both ports as
well as presentations from Johor Port's Project Management Office, providing an excellent platform for the sharing of knowledge and
expertise on industry practices and port management innovations. As the primary organiser, JPA also provided insights into its strategic
role in Malaysia's logistics landscape.

Oct Educational Visit by World Maritime University to PTP and
1-2 Johor Port
PTP and Johor Port brought an eye-opening experience for 16 Maritime
Law students and their lecturer from the MSc. Maritime Law & Policy
Specialisation Programme at the World Maritime University (WMU),
Malmo, Sweden with a unique and enriching experience through a
week-long field visit. Hosted by JPA, the students gained invaluable
insights and exposure on the operational, legal, and policy frameworks
which drive port activities. Through a series of overview briefings,
workshops, networking activities and interactive tours of both ports,
the students learned about each port’s diverse operations as well as
on broader topics such as the global supply chain and sustainability
considerations.
By combining theoretical knowledge with real-world experiences and
