                                                               3     Presidents’ Conference
                                                               Northport hosted delegates from the 5th World Association Presidents’
                                                               Conference, marking the first time the conference was held outside
                                                               China. With the theme “Promoting Trade Liberalisation, Advancing
                                                               Economic Globalisation,” the event coincided with the 50th anniversary
                                                               of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. The conference
                                                               provided  a  valuable  platform  for  businesses  from  both countries  to
                                                               connect and explore opportunities for collaboration.



          Dec   Visit by Hapag Lloyd Southeast Asia Leadership to PTP
          10    PTP  was  honoured  to  welcome  Hapag-Lloyd  CEO,  Rolf
          Habben  Jansen,  and  Chief  Financial  Officer  &  Chief  Procurement
          Officer, Mark Frese. The visit held particular significance as the Gemini
          Cooperation between Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk is set to commence in
          February 2025.

          They were warmly received by MMC Group Managing Director and PTP
          Chairman, Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, MMC Ports CEO, Dato’
          Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, PTP CEO, Mark Hardiman, and members of
          PTP’s senior management team. The visit started with a comprehensive
          presentation on PTP’s operational performance and developments,
          before PTP’s CEO and COO led the distinguished guests on a tour of
          the port’s key facilities to showcase its preparedness to support the
          success of the Gemini network, which PTP anticipates will lead to a
          substantial increase in volume.
