Nov Visit From UMT Students for Work-Based Learning at PTP
11 PTP hosted a group of students from the UMT for their Work-
Based Learning programme. The visit aimed to provide students with
hands-on experience and insights into the port industry to support
them in their Final Year Project. During the visit, students were given
a comprehensive tour of PTP's terminal and facilities, followed by
interactive sessions with various departments where they learned
about port operations, safety rules and procedures and the innovative
technologies that PTP utilises. Picture 16expand
Nov Northport Hosts Working Visit from the International
26 Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) Japanese Foundation
In conjunction with the IAPH Workshop with Malaysian ports, Northport
welcomed delegates from the IAPH Japanese Foundation. The
workshop focused on key areas, including digital transformation in
container logistics, cruise port revitalisation, decarbonisation and
hinterland connectivity. The event brought together representatives
from six Japanese ports: Tomakomai, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Nov
Osaka and Kobe. 10 SPT Services Hosts Site Visit to the Solid Product Jetty
SPT Services welcomed the Commander of Division 3, Major
General Dato' Indera Zahari Mohd Ariffin, for a site visit to the Solid
Product Jetty to witness all ongoing operations in the Pengerang
Integrated Complex area.
