27 MAR Maiden Call of Damietta Express at PTP
PTP welcomed the maiden call of Damietta Express-Hapag-Lloyd AG’s latest Hamburg-Express-class fleet and a key carrier within the newly
launched Gemini Cooperation network. Notably, Damietta Express also underwent Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) of Liquefied Natural
Gas (LNG) bunkering. Beyond receiving a new vessel at its terminal, this marked the beginning of a strong and promising collaboration with
Hapag-Lloyd, while also reinforcing PTP’s distinction as Malaysia’s first terminal to facilitate such sustainable and eco-efficient operations.
