PTP Receives Eight New Electric Rubber-Tyred Gantry

(e-RTG) Cranes
This delivery was part of a procurement agreement signed with Mitsui
E&S Co., Ltd. in November 2022, marking the fourth batch of 35 cranes
ordered under the agreement.
These cranes will serve to strengthen PTP’s existing RTG fleet,
significantly enhancing handling capabilities while ensuring the
terminal continues to deliver exceptional service standards as the
leading transhipment hub. They will also support the demands of the
newly launched Gemini network.

This significant achievement involved the LNG dual-fuel container ship
Bangkok Express, which has a capacity of 23,660 TEUs and operated
by Hapag-Lloyd AG, and the LNG bunker vessel MT Paolina Cosulich.
This milestone marks PTP's dedication to enhancing its competitive
edge in the global market by facilitating clean and efficient maritime
operations. The port partnered with PETCO Trading Labuan Co., Ltd.
and Hapag-Lloyd on this pioneering initiative.

Car of the Year (MCOTY) 2024. The prestigious award event was
co-organised by Mobility Media Sdn. Bhd. and the Malaysia Automotive,
Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), an agency under the Ministry of
Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). The award was presented by
the Deputy Secretary General (Industry) of MITI, Datuk Hanafi Sakri,
to Northport’s CEO, Fakhrul Azhar Tajudin.
