Tanjung Bruas Port Enhances Fishermen's Shelter with
23 JAN Solar Lamp Donation
Tanjung Bruas Port donated three solar lamps, each with a capacity of
300 watts, to the fishermen's shelter located in Kampung Balik Bukit,
Tanjung Kling, Melaka, as part of its CSR initiative. This contribution
was aimed at improving convenience and comfort for fishermen,
particularly those who embark on their journeys early in the morning
or return late at night.
Md. Derick Basir, Director of Tanjung Bruas Port, remarked: "This CSR
programme is designed to provide essential facilities to the fishermen
of Kampung Balik Bukit, who require additional support. The installation
of these solar lamps signifies our commitment to enhancing the safety
and visibility of the fishermen’s shelter during nighttime. This initiative
also facilitates the fishermen in performing various tasks such as
repairing nets and attaching floats."
