Cable and Ancillary Works 3
Johor Port has successfully executed the replacement
of low voltage (LV) cable from the bridge joint box to Tower

Acquisition of New Trailers 4
Kontena Nasional purchased eight low bed and six side
loader trailers to increase Penang and Port Klang haulage
capacity, upscaling logistical efficiency in line with the
company’s expansion strategy and ability to deliver top-tier
services across the country.
Acquisition of RTGs 5
Northport purchased 11 units of Electrified Rubber-Tyred
Gantry (E-RTGs) and 23 units of diesel-powered RTGs in
2023. An additional 12 units of E-RTGs are to be delivered
in 2025. The equipment will help to reduce the port’s
environmental footprint, promoting a healthier environment
while maximising efficiency.
