PTP welcomed Kasper Roersted, Maersk Member of the board of

Penang Port was delighted to host a distinguished delegation from
the Institute of World Economy, Shanghai Academy of Social Science
in November 2023. The visit further strengthened the ties between
both parties, fostering a deeper understanding of international trade
and global economics.
PTP WELCOMES WORKING VISIT FROM APM TERMINAL
PTP welcomed a delegation from APM Terminal Brazil for their
familiarisation visit to PTP. The visit was part of PTP’s stakeholder PENANG PORT RECEIVES A VISIT FROM THAILAND CUSTOMS

Penang Port received a courtesy visit from the Thailand Customs
Department. The visit signifies the recognition of Penang Port's
pivotal role as a key logistics hub in the northern region and to further
strengthen the relationship with both parties.
VISIT FROM SELANGOR POLICE CHIEF
Northport received a working visit from the Selangor Police Chief,
YDH CP Dato' Hussein Omar Khan, along with the Senior Management
team of the Selangor Police Contingent of the Royal Malaysia Police.
The objective of this working visit was to discuss issues related to
port operations in Port Klang. These issues included measures to combat
smuggling, the handling of hazardous materials and other operational
matters.
VISIT TO SITC CONTAINER LINES WITH MINISTER OF TRANSPORT
Northport’s CEO, Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, joined a delegation
led by the Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, to pay
a courtesy visit to SITC Container Lines’ main office in Shanghai,
China. The visit marked a meaningful step towards strengthening
ties between Malaysia and China, fostering mutual growth in the field
of maritime trade and logistics.
TANJUNG BRUAS PORT ORGANISES A VISIT FOR CONTAINER
FEEDER CUSTOMERS
Tanjung Bruas Port has collaborated with CMA-CGM to engage
with container feeder customers, primarily to service shippers in
Muar, Johor, from the manufacturing industry especially from the
furniture sector through the establishment of Container Feeder
Service from Tanjung Bruas Port – Port Klang and vice versa.
