The second quarter of 2023 proved to be a fruitful
period for MMC’s ports in their commitment towards
establishing and executing upon their sustainability
plans, with this time period seeing the launch of
multiple impactful sustainability initiatives aimed
at cultivating positivity and long-term value for
stakeholders and surrounding communities.

NORTHPORT REMAINS STEADFAST IN HELPING THE NEEDY MAJLIS IFTAR JAMA’IE PENANG
PORT WITH TUAN YANG TERUTAMA
As part of its annual CSR agenda, Northport continued to help the needy by distributing
food essential packages to designated asnaf within its community on 17 and NEGERI PULAU PINANG
18 April 2023. Completed in collaboration with the 40th Port Specialists Regiment Penang Port organised the iftar

Johor Port together with PTP and Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd
participated in RTM’s annual Bubur Lambuk JOHORfm 2023 Programme by
sponsoring two jumbo pots of bubur lambuk. The bubur lambuk were then
distributed to JohorFM’s listeners through the drive-thru at RTM’s office.
The Ramadan engagements with Johor Media are part of MMC Southern Operating
Companies’ stakeholder engagement programme focusing on fostering a better
relationship with Johor Media as well as expressing gratitude towards a several-year
strong partnership.
