NORTHPORT AWARDED ANUGERAH PERDANA PENARAFAN BINTANG SASARAN PENTING
(APBSP)
Northport was announced as the recipient of the APBSP 2023 under the Key Point ll category,
during the appreciation award ceremony held at the Leo Moggie Convention Centre, TNB Platinum
Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. The award acknowledges the most exemplary protective security governance
systems within Malaysia's critical infrastructure installations. Yang Berhormat Senator Datuk Seri
Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Minister of Home Affairs presented the award to Northport’s CEO, Dato'
Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, who received the award on behalf of the company.

COMMEMORATING 100 DAYS OF PETRONAS CHEMICALS MARKETING LABUAN (PCML) LTD
SHIPMENTS TO JOHOR PORT
Johor Port marked a significant milestone in its partnership with PCML Ltd by commemorating 100
days of operational success. Since the commencement of the first leg connectivity from Pengerang to
Pasir Gudang with operations under Navegacion Shipping (Johor) Sdn Bhd, Johor Port has handled an
outstanding throughput volume of over 10,000 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) to date.
Throughout these 100 days, PCML had demonstrated an unwavering commitment to delivering export
shipments via the Malaysia Southern Gateway, underscoring the trust placed in Johor Port with the
consistent upkeep of safety, efficiency and environmental responsibility standards. This milestone
reflects the successful handling of PCML shipments and the exceptional operational accomplishments
of the dedicated Johor Port team, stakeholders and customers who played a pivotal role in this
remarkable journey.

SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SUMMIT (SIBS) 2023
Northport participated in the 7 SIBS 2023. This annual business event,
th
which took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, brought together
global brands and industry players from around the world. It formed part
of Northport’s stakeholder engagement programmes, with a focus on
nurturing business expansion and promoting international collaboration.
Event proceedings were officiated by Menteri Besar Selangor, Yang Amat
Berhormat Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari under the theme of “Selangor the
Gateway to ASEAN”.

PTP RECEIVES UN GLOBAL COMPACT NETWORK MALAYSIA &
BRUNEI (UNGCMYB) FORWARD FASTER SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS
2023
PTP was named as the award winner of UNGCMYB Forward Faster
Sustainability Awards 2023 under the main Enterprise Category:
‘The Forward Faster Sustainability Award – Gender Equality’. PTP was
also recognised under the Recognition Categories: ‘Partnership for
the Goals Recognition’ and ‘Pioneer Sustainable Development Action
Recognition’.
Held at the Park Royal Collection Kuala Lumpur on 24 November 2023, the
sustainability award ceremony was officiated by YB Dato' Hajjah Hanifah
Hajar Taib, Deputy Minister of Economy, also seeing the attendance
of YB Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister in the Prime Minister
Department (Economy), Distinguished Fellow, UN Sustainable Solutions
Network at Sunway University and Adviser to the All-Party Parliamentary
Group on Sustainable Development Goals and Dr. Tunku Alina Alias,
the National Advisory Panel of UNGCMYB.
